Why limited registration or co-ownership?

Why limited registration or co-ownership?

Freedom Ranch puppies are placed on the AKC limited registration or on a co-ownership contract. We do not sell puppies with full, unlimited registration.

Limited registration means your dog is fully AKC registered and can compete in performance events — it simply cannot be bred. Co-ownership means Freedom Ranch Labradors stays on the paperwork alongside you, usually relevant where a puppy has show or breeding potential.

Both protect the same thing: that the dogs carrying these bloodlines forward are the right dogs, in the right homes.

“We believe finding the right Labrador should be about much more than choosing a color or falling in love with a photograph. It is about finding the right dog for the right family.”
