It Starts Before They’re Born

Born in our home. Raised by our family. Eight weeks of deliberate preparation for the much bigger world waiting for them.

Krys makes each litter a priority before the puppies arrive. In the week leading up to their delivery and through the critical first weeks after birth, she is with the mother and puppies — whelping, newborn care, nutrition, cleanliness, weight gain, and the overall wellbeing of the litter.

There are plenty of sleepless nights behind every Freedom Ranch litter. We believe that responsibility begins with a puppy’s very first breath.

New Surfaces, New People, New Challenges

Footing changes, visitors arrive, other dogs come into view, and small age-appropriate challenges teach puppies how to recover and try again.

The Farm and The First Routines

Outdoor exploration, crate introduction, and the start of a housebreaking routine that the new family will continue.

Evaluation, Matching, and Go-home

A trainer’s evaluation of each puppy informs the final match, and puppies leave with their records, their care basket, and their training already arranged.

Raised around children

Krys’s two sons are part of the program. They help socialize litters, spend hours handling, and give every litter daily experience with the sound, movement, and the unpredictability of young children — the thing most puppies meet for the first time only after they go home.

Getting to know each puppy

We watch how they interact with people, approach new experiences, respond to their environment, recover from challenges, and develop as individuals. That daily knowledge is what makes real matching possible.
