Belquest Conclusion Catch My Drift

Meet Drift

Meet Drift

Drift is co-owned with Belquest Conclusion Labradors and lives here at Freedom Ranch. That matters more than it sounds. Having him in the home means knowing him beyond his pedigree, his photographs, and his record in the ring — his temperament, his trainability, and his everyday disposition are things we see, not things we were told.

Our breeding philosophy is centered on producing Labradors that are beautiful representatives of the breed and dogs that people genuinely enjoy living and working with. Drift represents those qualities, and we are proud to make him available to carefully selected, approved females.

Pedigree and additional information are also published on the Belquest Conclusion website.

Drift’s hips and elbows were evaluated on September 7, 2026, two days after his first birthday, so both results are preliminary — OFA issues final certification at two years, which for Drift is September 2027. The congenital portion of his cardiac clearance is permanent; the adult-onset portion is valid for one year from the test date, through September 10, 2027.

Approval First

Every female is reviewed before a breeding is scheduled. Submitting documentation does not constitute approval, and we may decline a pairing that is not right for the program.

In-House Breeding

Fresh, side-by-side breeding with artificial insemination, here in Davidsonville, Maryland — scheduled around your female’s progesterone timing and Drift’s availability.

Shipped Semen

Fresh chilled semen shipped anywhere in the United States, arranged with your reproductive veterinarian. All fees must be received before shipment.

What we require of your female

  • Current AKC or CKC registration

  • Four-generation pedigree

  • OFA hip results

  • OFA elbow results

  • Current eye examination — annual exams are required

  • Cardiac examination results

  • EIC genetic testing results

  • Dilute gene testing confirming DD status, unless documented through OFA

  • Additional testing when appropriate for the proposed breeding

  • A current photograph, if requested

Our Dilute Policy

Freedom Ranch Labradors does not support the intentional breeding of dilute Labrador Retrievers. The female presented for breeding may not be silver, charcoal, champagne, or another dilute color, and may not carry the dilute gene. Proof of DD status is required.

Why We’re Selective

Every breeding decision has the potential to influence generations to come. We evaluate the health, pedigree, temperament, structure, and overall compatibility of each female presented. Labradors should be confident, social, willing partners — equally capable as family companions and as working dogs.
