Understand The Process

Choosing your next Labrador should be exciting, personal, and thoughtful. Here is exactly what happens between your application and the day your puppy comes home.

1

1

Apply

The application takes about ten minutes and asks about your home, your experience with dogs, your schedule, and what you want this Labrador to do with you — family life, service work, therapy, hunting, or the show ring. Krys reads every application herself and replies within X DAYS.

2

Connect

A real conversation, not a formality. Questions get answered on both sides — yours about the program, hers about your household — and it becomes clear which litter is the right one to wait for. Farm visits: POLICY TBC

3

Reserve

Once your application is approved, a $1,000 deposit reserves your place. The deposit is non-refundable, but it transfers to a future litter if timing changes or the right match is not in the litter you are waiting on.

Match

Freedom Ranch assigns puppies rather than letting families pick from photographs. Krys has spent more than ten years as a professional trainer matching families with the right dog by temperament and personality, and she spends every day with the litter watching how each puppy handles new people, new places, and small challenges.

The quiet puppy in the photo may be the one who struggles in a busy house. The bold one may be exactly right for service work. That is a judgment made in person, over weeks — and it is the single biggest reason families here end up with a dog that fits. Color and sex preferences: HOW THESE FACTOR IN — TBC

Go Home

Puppies go home at eight weeks with their care basket, health records, and training already arranged — six private lessons at AmericanK9, or a $500 credit toward a board & train. Families who want more can add a 10, 12, or 16-week elite development package before go-home. Pickup: FARM ONLY? TBC

After Go-Home

Nothing changes.

Nothing changes.

Freedom Ranch stays in the picture: booking your lessons, answering the two-in-the-morning questions, celebrating milestones, and being a resource for the life of your Labrador. Many families come back for a second dog. Some send photos for years.
